The cock, a well-known symbol of Mexico, also gives this tequila its face. The production takes place in the Fabrica de Tequila Finos distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Exclusively blue ragweed is used for the Rooster Rojo Tequilas. The Rooster Rojo Tequila AÑEJO 100% de Agave matures for at least one year in ex-bourbon barrels. The bottle shape is based on the Tequila Volcano, which can be seen from the distillery.Tasting notes:Colour: mahogany. Nose: oak, chocolate, tobacco, coffee. Taste: caramel, oak, vanilla, roasted agave. Finish: Long lasting, smooth, vanilla, oak.
